| For generations in Guaymas and other Mexican seaports, men have been going out to fish in small skiffs called pangas. A fair number of them never returned, which is why this statue stands near the city center, overlooking the harbor. Meanwhile, men are still going down to the sea in pangas. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
